Help us provide basic health care in third world countries by donating to Rachel's chosen charity

Many fan sites bombard you with advertising to gain revenue or ask you for financial donations to support the site.  We have decided not to have advertisements on the site because they can so easily spoil your enjoyment.  You also won’t get us asking you to give money to help with the costs of running the site
Some people have contacted us directly because they have enjoyed the site so much and are grateful to Rachel for giving her time  They have wanted to make a donation as a “thank you”.  We have discussed this with Rachel and we have decided that we would like to help people who are less fortunate than ourselves.  To this end Rachel has chosen one of her favourite charities Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) for us to support.

So, now we are asking for donations!

If you visit the site and enjoy it and want to support it in some way, we would love it if you made a donation to Médecins Sans Frontières in our name (see below).  We have made up a donation page where you can donate securely.  It’s very easy to do and even the smallest amount will go toward saving people’s lives by providing them with the basic health care that we take for granted.

It doesn’t matter how small your donation is every pound, dollar or euro really does make a difference.
The “Just Giving” site where we have set up an account takes donations in GB pounds (GBP), so to help our non-English friends to convert to US dollars (US$), Australian dollars (Au$) and Euro’s (€),  use the online calculator.  Your credit/debit card bill will show your donation in your own currency. UK donors please consider "gift aiding" your donation thus enabling MSF to claim back the tax on your donation. This increases your donation by 28% at no additional cost to you.

You don’t have to give your name, you can donate anonymously, or use your message board name, it’s entirely up to you.  Please consider making a donation however small.
